Growing Tomorrow's Leaders

NCSL's annual regional conferences 2006

During autumn 2006, NCSL consulted with school leaders and other key stakeholders on two major and interconnected topics:

how to meet the challenge of succession planning for school leadership
how to redesign the National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH)

Key local leaders were invited to join us at nine regional conferences so that we could hear their views on these important issues and share our current proposals. This consultation will have a direct impact on how we shape our future work.
