NCSL has taken the decision to close the Development Programme for Consultant Leadership (DPCL), with effect from December 2008.
The programme has made a real contribution to leadership development both across the system and in schools, where colleagues have received high-quality challenge and support.
DPCL has substantially informed the development of support and training for local leaders of education so, although the programme has come to an end, its legacy carries on.
