Find out how to apply for Equal Access to Promotion.
Equal Access to Promotion (EAP) is jointly developed and delivered by NCSL and the National Union of Teachers (NUT).
The core purpose of the programme is to address the professional development needs of black and minority ethnic (BME) teachers in leadership who are aspiring to more senior roles and responsibilities.
EAP is a module of the Leadership Pathways programme, but is also being offered as a stand-alone programme to a broader range of school leaders. Offering the programme to non-Leadership Pathways participants will make EAP a truly accessible programme. For some EAP participants the programme will act as a gateway to broader provision and encourage further engagement with NCSL.
