Culture and organisation
The capabilities and skills of the individual are only one part of what enables a leader to make an effective contribution. The culture and organisation of the school in which they work will either capitalise on or suppress their talents.
There are particular environments that encourage people to lead, that shape their leadership in productive directions and maximise their capabilities.
