Why collaborations?
Building collaborations between schools is an essential part in securing sufficient numbers and quality of leaders in schools. As well as shared expertise and mutual support, it is the only way to offer leaders the breadth of development and experience they require to excel.
We know this needs to take place across and between schools. How do we create these partnerships and what do these partnerships need to be successful?
Experience suggests that partnerships require investment and management - it is rare that effective collaboration between organisations occurs naturally.
Shared processes and systems will go a long way towards fostering partnership.
