New Visions brings together new headteachers in regional groups which combine study, problem solving and peer support. These groups focus on reflection and enquiry about school leadership and learning in participants' schools.
Participants will have the opportunity to:
- bring school issues into a safe and challenging environment with other newly appointed headteachers and supported by expert facilitation
- develop enquiry approaches to learning and leadership which will have a direct impact on schools
- focus on generating powerful pupil learning and achievement in their school
- develop enduring leadership learning skills to enhance their professional career as a headteacher and beyond
- keep in touch with the best national and international research and practice
- work within the bigger picture, developing strategies and facing the future for their school
- establish a professional, career-long relationship with NCSL
- engage in online discussions with facilitators and peers within the talk2learn community
