Learning Gateway training

What kind of training is available?

Live training is delivered through free, online sessions, straight to your computer!

You will join other colleagues and an NCSL trainer in a 'virtual', on-screen environment and join in the conversation at the same time through a telephone conference (using a freephone number).

Learning Gateway training sessions are available at three, distinct levels:

  1. Learning Gateway introduction
  2. Do more with the Learning Gateway
  3. Advanced Learning Gateway

What session should I attend?

"I have just started my NCSL programme and am new to the Learning Gateway. I just want an overview to get me started."

Learning Gateway introduction

This session is ideal for new or inexperienced Learning Gateway users

"I have used the Learning Gateway for communicating and learning but now I want to develop my talk2learn homepage, upload my personal icon, discover new areas of the Learning Gateway and find out how to maximise my learning opportunities."

Do more with the Learning Gateway

This session is ideal for those undertaking the Online Facilitation and Tutoring course

"I am an experienced user of the Learning Gateway and I have specific requests I want to explore with the trainer in order to understand in depth, for example, community membership and page design in talk2learn."

Advanced Learning Gateway

This session is ideal for facilitators, managers or those with admin responsibilities within talk2learn
