• ECM Premium Project: school leadership, Every Child Matters and school standards
  The specific aims of the project were to identify the evidence base for a link between ECM and improvements in school standards (commonly known as ‘the ECM Premium‘) and to identify the nature and quality of leadership that underpinned it. The project has also produced case studies and a toolkit.

  Focusing on the results of what is a novel way of improving school quality, in which the system of schools itself learns from its own best people and practices rather than being encouraged to follow central guidance, policy or advice.
