NCSL in your region
NCSL is committed to working at a local level to understand the context of school leadership and offer relevant, practical support to those leading schools, wherever they may be.
Our aim is to build relationships that help us to work with school leaders to tackle the unique challenges of leadership in different areas, and share good practice and ideas.
NCSL's Leadership Network
NCSL’s Leadership Network represents school leaders and others in education-related leadership roles who wish to contribute to leadership learning and draw policy issues from professional practice. What's happening in your region?
NCSL provides a flexible range of programmes and activities to support and develop school leaders at every stage of their career.
- Many of our programmes are delivered regionally, which means that you can attend the face-to-face elements of the programme in your local area. A number of our programmes also offer taster sessions, which provide prospective participants with the opportunity to find out more about the programme.
- We also deliver a range of events including national and regional conferences, exhibitions and seminars. Our calendar details key events that are taking place over the next 12 months.
- Wherever you are based, learn from the comfort of your own desk with our range of online learning training sessions. These are designed to help you get more out of our online learning and community environments, collectively known as the Learning Gateway. They provide you with a number of opportunities from building the skills you need to become a confident online learner to how to become an official online mentor. The Learning Gateway live online sessions also introduce you to 'My Learning' where you will find many of the resources for NCSL programmes you may be on along with your learning record.
