Thinking and rethinking leadership
ILERN is a professional network of influential expert researchers in the field of educational leadership, comprising 20 academics from 13 countries. There have been three meetings of the research network, with parallel leadership summits in South Africa, the United States and the United Kingdom.
The overarching theme within the articles is understanding and advancing sustainable leadership. They have been written for serving and aspiring school leaders to prompt reflection and dialogue about their leadership practice.
The pack contains not only the five articles, but also an approach to using them to structure discussion and reflection amongst colleagues in study groups, across networks and within LA's. The approach has been trialled and tested by school leaders to produce this pack as a resource for leadership discussion and development.
