NCSL's Framework for action published
The Framework for Action was created to provide local authorities with an overview of the key challenges for succession planning. It offers a framework to develop a local strategy and guidance on the practical approaches to retaining and attracting leaders to your area.
NCSL has been working with pilot area, fieldworkers, National Succession Consultants and other national partners since September 2006. Key elements of the Framework for Action are now available in the resource centre for you to download free of charge.
